Somehow they remind me of my boyhood in small town Sudbury, ON when it was a little forbidden to be out so late and the approaching gloom was full of mystery and the promise of strange adventures.
You are so right Mike Laplante, there is something both a little bit magical but also at little bit dangerous about the inbetween time. I too remember that feeling of "uh oh, I better get home before the street lights come on."
Situated on the far west coast of Canada, on the southern tip of Vancouver Island, Victoria is the capital city of the Province of British Columbia. Its benign climate (the warmest winters in Canada) and placid lifestyle make it a favorite retirement location as well as a popular tourist destination. About 400,000 people live in Victoria and adjacent communities. Click the photos to see them larger!

Gotta love The Blue Hour!
I love shooting at Blue Hour. I snagged a great photo of the BC Leg buildings at this time of day several years ago.
Love the blue in these shots!
Love your night shots, Fern.

Thanks for all your kind words.
