Victoria's Legislative Assembly Buildings are lit at night so I thought they would make a good subject for my first attempt at night photography, although they've been photographed like this about a million times.

Ah, but I've never seen it like this before, so thanks for posting this lovely capture.
Tis is your first attempt. Well it's excellent. Depth of field, richness of colour ans the clarity of the arificial light is spot in. A very impressive night shot. I think you need to take more like this.
Elaine and Babooshka, thank you for your kind and encouraging remarks. Evening and nightfall here almost always brings a chilly breeze off the ocean and I tend to stay indoors. I'll just have to dress warmer I guess.
