Many Victorians prefer our wilder local parks such as Thetis Lake but the fully domesticated Beacon Hill Park (above) is pleasant and peaceful on a winter afternoon.

Situated on the far west coast of Canada, on the southern tip of Vancouver Island, Victoria is the capital city of the Province of British Columbia. Its benign climate (the warmest winters in Canada) and placid lifestyle make it a favorite retirement location as well as a popular tourist destination. About 400,000 people live in Victoria and adjacent communities.

Do I spy red flowers? I liked Beacon Hill Park, the couple of times I walked or drove through.
Looks like a lovely spot!
Looks real good. Would love to walk around there some time.
