Daffodils are not native plants here but this environment seems to suit them so perfectly that they have naturalized themselves. The ones pictured above are blooming along the West Bay Walkway between some rocks on the shoreline.

Wonderful! We have some in the garden, just haven't managed to get a clear shot yet.
There's a big daffodil celebration in Tacoma/Puyallup/Sumner/Orting with a big parade that hits all 4 cities in the same day (driving to each location).
