I think that's what surprised me most about the Harbour Ferry gorge tour, was the industrial stuff. I hardly took any pics b/c it was kind of disappointing till we got into the residential area.
While most of us would question the aesthetic value of such a subject in the middle of a beautiful city like Victoria, hopefully we can appreciate them just the same as necessary elements of what makes any community, in practical, logistical terms. There is creativity and productivity here in a very real sense.
Situated on the far west coast of Canada, on the southern tip of Vancouver Island, Victoria is the capital city of the Province of British Columbia. Its benign climate (the warmest winters in Canada) and placid lifestyle make it a favorite retirement location as well as a popular tourist destination. About 400,000 people live in Victoria and adjacent communities. Click the photos to see them larger!

A completely different part of the city... black and white works well for it.
