Inner Harbour

Today is the final day of the third year of this photoblog and it's fitting to end the year with a photo that encapsulates some of Victoria's greatest charms. The weather, though I often gripe about it, is some of the best in Canada and its effect is visible here in the flowering cherry (plum?) that is blossoming now overlooking what is the city's real center, the Inner Harbour. Tomorrow marks the beginning of the fourth year of Victoria Daily Photo. I promise some surprises in the months to come and invite you along for the ride.

It looks like you'll win the prize for earliest and most beautiful Spring. I can just imagine what the Butchart Gardens must look like right now!

What a difference a week makes. I was down at the Inner Harbour and there wasn't a sighting of a blossom anywhere!! I'll have to try again.
Congrats on year four and thanks for the beautiful photos, this one included of a beautiful city.

Even tho I haven't left a comment before, I would like you to know how very much I love reading your blog everyday. With the four hour time difference from your coast to mine, I do have to be patient and wait until the afternoon here in order to be WOWed by your pictures! Having lived in Victoria for eight months in 2002,several of your pictures bring back lots of fond memories for me. Keep up the excellent work and I look forward to another year of seeing your view of Victoria. I'm loving every picture!
