A short walk east from where I took yesterday's photo, Sailor's Cove widens out into the broader reaches of the Inner Harbour and provides this view of Victoria's downtown. One commenter yesterday mentioned the fog that came down later in the day. At dawn this fog was little more than a low-lying cloud but it provided enough interference for the sun's rays to allow this photo of the sun as it crept above the city skyline.

Beautiful !
Fascinating sunrise.Marvelous colors.
Have a nice day,
Joseph
Great sunrise from your vantage point! I was under the fog but I got some pretty orange and pink cloud shots from downtown. I didn't make it to West Vic; ran out of time. I had to skip a bunch of stuff due to time constraints, but I made it to Willows Beach and that was SO worth it. The best beachcombing I've seen in a long, long time.
This is lovely. I am so lazy that I take more sunsets than sunrises!
What a gorgeous shot with all the subtle colors and shadows. Very well captured.
Darryl and Ruth : )
Thanks all for your kind comments.
JoJo - I'm glad you got to see at least a few of the things you wanted to see and had a good time. Next time you come up this way I hope you will plan to be here long enough to stop and have a coffee break with me.
Ben, I would love to do that!
