I was going to make a joke about Hekyll and Jekyll (who here is old enough to remember them?) but wasn't sure if they were crows or some other bird. They had bright beaks...
Heckle and Jeckle were magpies but good one. Certainly the dialogue posted inspires that comparison. Interesting post!
