Situated on the far west coast of Canada, on the southern tip of Vancouver Island, Victoria is the capital city of the Province of British Columbia. Its benign climate (the warmest winters in Canada) and placid lifestyle make it a favorite retirement location as well as a popular tourist destination. About 400,000 people live in Victoria and adjacent communities.

I love Victoria! My husband was raised on Vancouver Island after being born in Oliver, BC. Can't wait to follow your blog.

Wow, those kids got hold (or made) some primo bubble juice! Love the expression of the lad in the cap!
You've got a lot happening in neighborhood life here. . .the bubble makers, the walkers on the sidwalk, the cyclist in motion, and some folks sitting out in the yard (yard sale?). A sunny Victoria morning. Hope you had fun, too!
