Situated on the far west coast of Canada, on the southern tip of Vancouver Island, Victoria is the capital city of the Province of British Columbia. Its benign climate (the warmest winters in Canada) and placid lifestyle make it a favorite retirement location as well as a popular tourist destination. About 400,000 people live in Victoria and adjacent communities. Click the photos to see them larger!

Where I live the last one in would be a badkruka. Great summer scene here.
Beautiful! Peaceful and serene. I don't know if the dock looks quite safe though!! I'd like to go and enjoy the scene though and try it out.
Gee, what gems you discovered on your trip.
Thanks for sharing!
Beautiful!!! But I'll be the rotten egg; that place looks like it has leeches. lol
Hi,
This is amazingly beautiful. Did you use a wide angle lens for this shot?
Thanks all for your kind remarks.
msdewberry - I walked out on the dock - it's pretty waterlogged but it still floats.
JoJo-I didn't see any leeches but I saw a couple of turtles.
DM - thanks and yes that was taken with a Sigma 10-20mm wide angle zoom at 10mm
