"I don't believe it!" "That's not real!"

What are these people looking at?

And what is happening?
It's PLASTERMAN!
You may find it hard to believe that the living statue Causeway Artist known as Plasterman evokes these reactions, but it is a tribute to his skills as a makeup artist and mime that he does. Visit his website to find out more about him.

I've seen pictures of a couple of such performers in England, and it is always amazing!

I read your caption before I had my coffee, and I thought for a moment you had hidden talents you finally wished to reveal:

it is a tribute to his skills as a makeup artist and mine that he does.

I hope that it isn’t lead-based paint! ;)

Great candid shots Benjamin.

When we were in France they have silver and gold statute men. Brilliant to watch and photograph. You've captured those joyous faces superbly.

Thanks all for your kind remarks. There are actually 3 living statue performers here although never more than one at a time on the Causeway - Copper Cowgirl Jane (I did a post on her a few months ago) and Golden Girl. The latter very seldom performs on the Causeway. Plasterman often performs near my favorite coffee vendor so I can sip while I snap candids of people focussed on him.
