Wish You Were Here....

After listening to Clay George and Dave Harris jamming (see yesterday's post) I walked through the warm evening air to the observation platform above the Causeway and paused to take this postcard shot of Victoria's most photographed view. Today (July 1) is Canada Day and today this same Inner Harbour Causeway will be wall-to-wall Canadians wearing red. There'll be lots of visitors from other countries as well, of course.

Hey Benjamin, what camera do you use? (The "Benjamin's NEW Camera" link or section on the right column of your blog is blank).

Hi Greg,
Most of the time these days I use my Sony A7r unless it's shots of birds which are usually taken with my Sony A77. One of the benefits of using the A7r is that I can use my collection of old Pentax Takumar prime lenses on it. This photo (Wish you were here....) was taken with that combination - the Sony A7r and a Pentax Takumar 28mm f3.5 lens.
