Canadians celebrate Canada Day in a wide variety of ways but here is a unique expression. This is "That Statue Guy", Victoria's own Plasterman, one of the most perennially popular entertainers on the Inner Harbour Causeway.

Situated on the far west coast of Canada, on the southern tip of Vancouver Island, Victoria is the capital city of the Province of British Columbia. Its benign climate (the warmest winters in Canada) and placid lifestyle make it a favorite retirement location as well as a popular tourist destination. About 400,000 people live in Victoria and adjacent communities.

Happy Canada Day! Are you going downtown to celebrate? Are they gonna make the giant flag out of people wearing red & white in front of the Leg. bldgs?
And a Happy Canada Day to you, too, JoJo - and a happy Fourth of July coming up! I think the living flag thing is an annual event but I don't know - Canada Day is too much crowds downtown for a recluse like me so I'll probably head for the hills....
