The one thing that surprised me the most about the Gorge tour I took was how industrial that part of Victoria is. Overall I wouldn't take that tour again as it wasn't as scenic as I was expecting.
ReplyDeleteJoJo - it's probably better in the summer (greener) and there are some nice spots (like Point Ellice House) that one passes on the tour that make nice stops in the summer - you can have high tea at Point Ellice House in the garden - click here - and there is a Harbour Ferry stop right at Point Ellice House.
ReplyDeleteNice shot, Benjamin. The low angle and those long lines are dramatic.
ReplyDeleteThe large propeller just below the bride at this point -- have you ever featured it in your blog? I covered it a couple of months ago I think.
Another view of the Bay St. bridge I just drove past. Never paid attention to the city view in the distance, or the paths under. Thanks for the different views!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Mike,
ReplyDeleteI was going to photograph the propeller but I remembered that you did such a good job on it I didn't bother.
Thanks MSD - I really appreciated your comment yesterday also - certainly one of the things that keeps me interested in photography is that it makes me concentrate a bit more on what I am seeing - it's a small way of practicing mindfulness.
ReplyDeleteI love this shot and the great perspective you got!
ReplyDeleteI love the perspective of the road and the rails contrasting with the city view! Nice one.
