These are probably not the world's smallest flowers but they are very small - smaller than a pinhead and nearly invisible unless you get your nose right down on the ground. I don't know what these flowers are called and this is not a very good photo for identification purposes, but this is one of those photos that makes me happy to be a photographer.

That IS tiny.
I don't know if I am imagining things, but I am almost certain that James Bay neighbourhood is currently experiencing a second cherry/plum tree blossom right now. We had one in early February, way ahead of normal, and now another.
Maybe I'm dreaming .....
How tiny are we talking? Could they fit on a penny?
They seem to resemble a bleeding heart in some ways? Though much smaller!
