Here's a relic of the 19th century on Government Street. I found it interesting that their website also contains some advertising copy that is as dated as their store.

One of my fave stops every time I visited. My ex always wanted a Cuban cigar. Man they are pricey! I was always lucky customs didn't find it.
One rarely sees the word tobacconist.
I absolutely love this photo. I walk by this tobacconist all the time, so it's a very familiar place to me - but the way you framed the shot (and waited for the right moment to capture the passersby) makes the shop window look wholly new and interesting. Just wonderful.
