Everyone likes to have wild birds in the neighborhood but sometimes they can make messes where you don't want them, like on your balcony. Here's a nifty solution - a fake owl.

Until the birds figure out that the owl never moves. :)
I passed one of these standing guard over a community garden this morning. I wonder how long it takes for the birds or squirrels to know it's not real.
