What exactly is going on in these photos you ask? Apparently it's a world wide phenomenon, and even qualifies for a wikipedia entry, if you can believe it. I think it's sort of interesting, in that the activity itself is a non-action (is that a word?) but by taking a photo of it which you then share on the web, it becomes a statement.

I don't know...I've seen some hilarious You Tube videos of 'epic fail planking'. It can be pretty dangerous.
I've heard about this. Like Steffe says, these ones are reasonably harmless, but others....
Very interesting and quite a current phenomenon! And it's a good exercise for the abdominals, too!

I'm shocked that our daughters would attempt this "planking" business.... We have now restricted her "planking" attempts to her bed....
