Situated on the far west coast of Canada, on the southern tip of Vancouver Island, Victoria is the capital city of the Province of British Columbia. Its benign climate (the warmest winters in Canada) and placid lifestyle make it a favorite retirement location as well as a popular tourist destination. About 400,000 people live in Victoria and adjacent communities.

It's the scarcity of tall buildings that make the city so appealing. That's one of the most attractive aspects of the city for me.

Victoria's lack of a "big city skyline" is a big part of it's charm!
It's good to see the variety of buildings, each with its own character. Those distinctively Canadian commuters in the foreground are a lucky catch as well, at least for the rest of us.
I'm glad you decided to post a photo of your skyline...because it's just beautiful! Tall skyscrapers not needed at all. The colors are so nice and the variety of all the different types of buildings is so very interesting. Then the boats add so much beauty too.
