This photo of the part of the Gorge known as the Upper Harbor was taken the same day as a photo I posted on the 14th of October, from the same vantage point but with the telephoto zoom extended to its full 70 mm. I've grown to like this photo much better than the wide angle one I posted earlier. It has a much rainier and wetter feel to it.

very neat capture
You know, looking at your blog, I'm really sorry I never got to Victoria when I went to Canada - one day! one day!
I like it too Benjamin. That's Blarney Pilgrim near the foreground, with the yellow/green wheelhouse. It was at the wooden boat festival in Vancouver.
I can almost feel the rainy mist in the air...much like a day we are having here in Knoxville! I really like this photo!
I like the surface of the water in the rain.
Like this shot, Benjamin. It captures so well the feeling of living here on the northwest coast on rainy autumn days. Also, it's good to see a combination of vessels in a harbor like this - work boats and pleasure craft, sailboats and fishing boats, tugs and paddle boats, etc. all mixed together.
I like this one much better. It is more intimate and has character and artistry.
