I promised a post about Fisherman's Wharf today but I got sidetracked at the Inner Harbour and the Classic Boat Show. Here's a show that is everything the Tall Ships should have been and wasn't. Lots of beautiful classic boats of all types from small motor boats and steam boats to large sailing ships. Free entry to the wharf, no line-ups, friendly people on board, lots of free tours of beautiful boats. The night shot above will only give you a hint of how pleasant and interesting it was. Bravo to the Victoria Real Estate Board and Black Press for presenting this 5 star event and a big Thank You to the many boat owners who participated!

Shots like this make me think Walt Disney had Victoria in mind for his Main Street designs. And I mean that in the nicest possible way.
I like a beautiful boat or two myself, and it sounds like you had an excellent time.
Benjamen, I love your stunning night shots of the inner harbor, so thanks for treating us to one today. Those classic boats are very lovely indeed.
