Postcard Classic
I have misplaced what I planned to post today so here's a classic postcard view of the Inner Harbour Causeway I took last week. Though it's been photographed a million times I can't resist taking this photo when I am down there - it's a pretty nice place to live.

Signs of Summer
When the city breaks out the hanging flower baskets it's a sure sign that summer's here and these manage to look bright and cheerful even under Saturday's dramatically gloomy skies. Those great black clouds were all bluff though; not a drop of rain did they deliver here.

Summer!
I have to admit these are not out of my own garden but they are local and they are delicious. Trully one of the tastes of summer. - Fern

In The Garden
Downtown is bustling with activities and events but I have to admit, my backyard is where I want to be, doing nothing but watching things grow. - Fern

Butterfly Days
After a notably wet and chilly June, Victoria's been having a wonderful summer full of sunny days when it seems like you spend a few minutes pottering about in the garden amongst the buzzing bees and fluttering butterflies and suddenly it's sunset. I hope your summer's as full of these lazy days as ours is.
