Birds
One of the things I want to do more of once the weather warms up is bird photography. Red-winged Blackbirds are one of my favorite birds because of how their rich and melodious songs fill the air in spring. The male Red-winged Blackbird pictured above was photographed at Rithet's Bog in March 2014.

He's a beauty. Even better clicking on the photo to make it larger.
How beautiful. I never noticed their feathers trimmed with yellow.
This one's quite handsome. They start showing up here in April sometime, and they're very territorial for a few weeks around their nests. I remember one pair set up a nest in the bushes in front of Centre Block some years back, and the male would routinely launch attacks at passersby.
Quality photo of the bird.
