Spring on Fisherman's Wharf

While strolling around Fisherman's Wharf last week I was happy to see the rich purple of these Grape Hyacinths, a flower I always associate with spring.

Situated on the far west coast of Canada, on the southern tip of Vancouver Island, Victoria is the capital city of the Province of British Columbia. That color is really jumping of the screen. Indeed a sign of spring. Nice.

I love grape hyacinth too. We have some in our yard as well.
