Ogden Point
With a kind of backwards logic I thought it would be interesting to go for a walk last night on the breakwater while it was so foggy. Guess what? We couldn't see much really. The water was absolutely calm and these tugs looked quite cozy tied up for the night. All the same it was lovely to be out surrounded by the sound of the foghorns and the distinctly metallic tang of the fog. - Fern

Great shots . I like them
Y'know what's weird... we live in Saanich near Swan Lake but we could hear the fog horn like it was only a few hundred yards away.
I assume it was some sort of phenomenon to due with the fog, maybe combined with all the new highrises going up causing some sort of acoustic channeling...
Those are beautiful pictures. I used to be able to hear the foghorns on the Golden Gate Bridge in my apartment in San Francisco. I always loved that sound.
It really creates a different atmosphere looking at shots like this. Lovely!
I like these great shots!
