Construction Zone

In my neighbourhood and in fact, all over the city there is always new buildings going up so there are cranes, and fences and these work sites that are everywhere. I walked all around such a site yesterday looking to see if there were any photo possibilities and actually found it quite an interesting project. It was a dreary day and suited the feel of this pictures. - Fern

Old School

This is a little laundromat located on Quadra Street, and I have always loved this sign. It doesn't quite have the class of neon but the little girl in her yellow dress is endearing. It's one of the few remaining old ones around town. - Fern
