On a drive along Dallas Road today we came upon this monumental structure built on the beach in front of Ross Bay Cemetery. I don't know how long it's been there or how long it will last but hats off to the builder of this incredible driftwood creation. - Fern

PS: No kidding around, I really do like the second shot.
That is very, very cool and must've taken quite a few hands. Driftwood isn't light. I saw a few driftwood 'structures' along Willows Beach a few years ago. I assume people build them for bonfires.
Very impressive - both the structure and the photos!
Wonderful photo....love the way the driftwood is placed. Looks beautiful in BC....I'd love to visit one day.

I love the second shot. I wonder who built it and I doubt one person did this, he had help, those logs are heavy.
