Daisies - Somewhere Saturday

Little more than a month ago I snapped these daisies growing in a friend's garden in the Similkameen Valley but except for the sagebrush mountains in the background they might equally well be growing around here . They seem to thrive as well on the roadsides as in carefully tended gardens. I've not attempted to identify these more specifically since there are several similar genera and many species. Whatever their name they are one of summer's pleasures.

It is amazing how you manage to keep the highest level of photography in your blog on everyday basis. Thank you for the pleasure to be the follower. Why I do not comment more often? But it would be just "ahh", "ohh", "wooww" kind of comments, zero info and sea of emotions).

From the thumbnail pic in my Dashboard, I thought this was a small patch of snow! I love the dramatic backdrop too.

I check in every day but rarely comment. This one is really good though. Actually your normal posts are really good. This one is really, really good.

Without question, your photography skills have gotten sharper and sharper since starting this site. Composition, lighting and selective focus all contribute to some National Geographic-level quality shots, including today's.
Bravo !

I love how they seem to be reaching as hard as they can for the sun. Beautiful. Your friend has a nice view!
