Situated on the far west coast of Canada, on the southern tip of Vancouver Island, Victoria is the capital city of the Province of British Columbia. Its benign climate (the warmest winters in Canada) and placid lifestyle make it a favorite retirement location as well as a popular tourist destination. About 400,000 people live in Victoria and adjacent communities.

Spectacular! I'd long for home too!
There is something mesmerizing about the prairie flatland horizon, knowing it is as far as you can see, limited only by the earth's curvature. Nowhere else can you be surrounded and feel liberated by so much sky.
A couple more winter snows and this will be toast! Nicely captured..
I couldn't get enough of the dilapidated homes and barns in our midwest too.
