Dog

Tonight at dusk we went out for a beautiful walk through the park and along the water. I took 74 pictures it was so nice out and yet all the time, some little warning bell was going off. Yet I ignored it, so lovely was the dusk light. Now though, looking through the pictures I realize the ISO was set at 1600 and the pictures are all a little bit grainy...however this one of our new puppy is a nice portrait and now I have an excuse to go out and try again! - Fern

Self Portrait

As the summer season begins, sunny days provide a good excuse for bringing out those designer sunglasses. This pooch on a stroll with his valet was recently sighted catching some rays on the Inner Harbor Causeway.

Frosty Morning

Victoria has mild winters but for several months each year the temperature hovers around freezing. Here's a frosty morning in January of this year with my granddaughter walking the dog along the railway tracks. It's the E and N Railway - stands for Esquimalt and Nanaimo - that runs a dayliner service between Victoria, Courtenay and Port Alberni.
