Yesterday we had a look at the Inner Harbour's lights through a 24mm lens. Here's what it looks like through a Takumar 50mm.

Every Christmas the powers that be light the Inner Harbour Causeway and Legislature for Christmas. I took a couple of different lenses down there last night. Above is what it looks like through a Takumar 24mm wide angle.

This post is for regular visitor and lover of Victoria, JoJo, who asked about Christmas lights here. Above we have the Inner Harbour Causeway with the Legislature wearing its special Christmas lights in the background. To the right, Captain Cook doesn't look very thrilled by the skating rink in front of the Empress Hotel across the street from him but maybe it's just the seagulls' sense of humour that is concerning him. Wondering the Streets

I'll admit, once the colder weather arrives I don't venture into the city at night very often but with enough layers of clothing it was quite nice actually. Government Street looks quite inviting all dressed in light for the coming onslaught of Christmas shoppers doesn't it? - Fern

Capital Iron with Christmas Lights
