Some of you may know that I get around this city by motorcycle and the first part of this video shares a bit of what that's like. It shows some of the drive I took through Esquimalt this afternoon on the way to Saxe Point Park.

Situated on the far west coast of Canada, on the southern tip of Vancouver Island, Victoria is the capital city of the Province of British Columbia. Its benign climate (the warmest winters in Canada) and placid lifestyle make it a favorite retirement location as well as a popular tourist destination. About 400,000 people live in Victoria and adjacent communities.

Great job on this video, Benjamin! A perfect unobstructed perspective for the viewer from wherever you had the camera mounted on your motorcycle.
Once on foot, the movement of everything (the trees, the little boy, the ocean) conveys the essence of your experience, something a photograph can't always do.
Close call with the SUV backing out but you didn't even flinch : )
The waters look choppy!
Those homes are so beautiful!
