Into the Light

When I'm taking photos I often notice people skipping out of the road or apologizing for being in the photo. Not only do I not mind if people are in the frame, I generally prefer having people in my photos, not necessarily as the subjects of the photo but just as participants in the scene. Sometimes, as in the photo above I wait until the innocent passersby are exactly where I want them before clicking the shutter.

I'm the opposite. I get extremely annoyed when people get in my shot. Or worse, when I'm waiting for them to move and they are taking their sweet time. Up in Salem my friend and I waited for these 2 women to move so we could take a picture and finally we just said, 'could you please move so we can get a pic?'
I think it depends on the setting. Sometimes I like having them present.
I like the ethereal quality of this shot.
I sometimes get annoyed when they step into my view when knowing full well I am taking a picture. So I wait and wait. Then other times I like folks in the photo like you captured here in this one. They suit this type of image. I like it!
