Elk Lake Trails

Between watching the races on the lake we went for a little walk around the lake which is quite pretty but also quite muddy at this time of year. The trail goes all the way around Elk and Beaver Lake and is about 10 km in total. Quite popular with runners and walkers even on a wet day. - Fern

Looks beautiful. Are there wild elk on the island?
Hi JoJo,
I think there are elk on the island but we seldom see them this far south. I think they need bigger tracts of wilderness to live happily.
It looks quite pleasant here.
Love the out of focus view in the distance with the colored leaves. A pretty image.
