Weirs Beach

You can live somewhere for a long time and still discover new things or places. Take for example Weirs Beach which is an amazing stretch of sand and clear, calm water out in Metchosin. It's just about as for as you can go out that way. While we were there these two strolled onto the beach dressed in pirate gear and it attracted the kids and their camera toting parents pretty quickly. I will be back! - Fern

Nice sandy beach. Great shots!
My family and I used to camp at Weir's Beach campground every summer when I was growing up. I have lots of memories or Weir's Beach, most good, some not so! I painted my name into the lookout about a mile up the road of the campsite and into the bush, overlooking the ocean when I was a teen. With my first love, talk about memories!! Have not been back to Weir's Beach in so many years.
I see that Save One spammer hasn't been kicked off the planet yet.

@William: I just deleted his comment but I remain mystified as to what his (Save One's) motivation is in making such an essentially meaningless comment. What is the point?
