Looking West
Directly below Beacon Hill is Finlayson Point and here's what the view westward along the coast looks like from there. The brilliant splashes of yellow are the blooms of Scotch Broom, introduced here by a Scottish settler homesick for his native hills.

Scotch broom is a wicked pest over in Washington. It's EVERYWHERE.
