Paddlers
A hazy winter morning on the Inner Harbour earlier this week found these paddlers setting out and a flock of little Bufflehead Ducks taking off.

Nice contrast with the paddlers going one way and the birds the other.
Is that one big canoe or is that a crew team?
I wonder what the birds think of the paddlers.
I like the contrast between the two.
Thanks all for your kind comments.
@Andy - I agree - the birds going one way and the paddlers going the opposite way create a nice opposition that makes the photo more dynamic.
@JoJo - This was one of about three large canoes traveling together so I think it is probably a paddling club.
@William K - At this time of year these little Buffleheads are pretty shy - they've only just arrived from the north. Later in the year when they get used to the environment here they get more blasé.
@Stephanie - I agree.
