While spring is right around the corner in February, Victoria often gets snow in that month as seen in this archival photo taken from my front window in February 2011.

Situated on the far west coast of Canada, on the southern tip of Vancouver Island, Victoria is the capital city of the Province of British Columbia. Its benign climate (the warmest winters in Canada) and placid lifestyle make it a favorite retirement location as well as a popular tourist destination. About 400,000 people live in Victoria and adjacent communities.

wow, this is a lot of snow ! nice one !
This wasn't from yesterday? One of my FB friends lives in Victoria and posted some pics of the snow. She was not a happy camper. She was also up in Parksville looking at condos and wasn't amused by the snow up there either.
