I was out in Sidney today and had to pull off the road across from the airport to take a few pictures of this beautiful spot in North Saanich. I had my friend's dog, Phoebe with me and she enjoyed it too.
I never had a chance to make it up to actually see Sidney. I've only been there twice to take the Washington State Ferry back here, and I had breakfast in town too.
My daughter lives near Sidney and when I go to Canada to visit I really enjoy the town because it has many book and craft stores. Also some great fish & chips!
Thank you all for your kind words and for keeping me straight on my facts! Sidney is a beautiful town, and not to be mistaken for North Saanich. Both are well worth a visit.

Dear Sir - that is in North Saanich and not Sidney (definitely not Sydney - that is in Australia) Cheers!
