Situated on the far west coast of Canada, on the southern tip of Vancouver Island, Victoria is the capital city of the Province of British Columbia. Its benign climate (the warmest winters in Canada) and placid lifestyle make it a favorite retirement location as well as a popular tourist destination. About 400,000 people live in Victoria and adjacent communities.

Beautiful shot. Fog offers some great imagery.
It isn't that unusual in the summer when there is little wind. Even on very warm days, a cool breeze can suddenly drop the temp a few degrees and you feel the fog before you see it coming.
Having lived in San Francisco, I love the foggy weather we've been having! It is very fall-like, and last night I swear I heard geese flying south over our house!!
How I miss smelling fog ... thank you for the nice memories. Please havea a great Thursday.

Odd angle to this photo -- I almost didn't recognize the location.
My wife and I used to live in James Bay. A favourite memory was Sunday mornings in bed reading our paper. Outside the weather would be that unique mix of fog and rain. We would open the window and listen to the rain falling in our garden and the nearby foghorns. Very mellow...
