Our snow is pretty much gone now but we are still having gray days and lots of rain and sleet. I like this photo because of the way the snow defines the mountains on the Olympic Peninsula (across the Strait of Juan de Fuca).
Happy New Year Benjamin. Thanks for all the great images last year. I picked my fave of yours and linked to it at GDP. Drop by and see which one. Cheers!
This is so geographically descriptive of where Victoria is in the world - just lovely. It looks like a Samoyed dog is just the right breed for the place too.
Jabba, yes, those mountains do appear to approach and recede depending on atmospheric conditions but part of their largeness in this photo is because of the telephoto lens compression (70mm in this case).

The mountains look as though they've been sketched in by a seriously talented artist!

I love your photos of landscapes. When I make a picture like this, I fail to fill all of what I'm looking for.

What a beautiful photo. I love the snow-capped mountains in the background and the colorful buildings and boats on the shore.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful color, and interestingly composed into three "worlds."
