Lilacs
One of my earliest memories of a scent is the scent of lilacs in the spring. The merest whiff of this perfume brings a trail of associations - warm weather, lazy afternoons, long evenings and all the other blessings of summer in the northern hemisphere. Lilacs must be favorites with many others too since they are blooming all over our neighborhood now.

My fave! I had some in my yard in WA and I have them here too. They smell so great. Wish they lasted longer.
They're a beautiful sight. Here in Ottawa they tend to bloom in the latter half of May.
One of my favourite scents too! But they won't bloom here for 6 weeks yet.
