Eclipse
For those of you who might have missed it last night, here is what the eclipse of the moon looked like over Victoria. I took this photo down on Dallas Road overlooking the Strait of Juan de Fuca and there were thousands of people out to see the moon.

I was in the backyard with several housemates watching in Ottawa. Clouds moved in just as the last of the sliver was still visible- and we did manage a brief glimpse of the total eclipse when there was a parting of the clouds for a few moments.
I was almost going to go to bed but a few friends were urging me to take some pics so I dragged out the tripod. My last shot ended up being one of the best, if not THE best, photo I've ever taken in my life. It's garnered more likes on Facebook, on two different pages, than any other picture I've ever posted.
That looks lovely!
