I've got nothing fresh here today so here's one from the archives - 5 years ago I posted this photo taken at the Sooke Potholes, just west of Victoria.

Situated on the far west coast of Canada, on the southern tip of Vancouver Island, Victoria is the capital city of the Province of British Columbia. Its benign climate (the warmest winters in Canada) and placid lifestyle make it a favorite retirement location as well as a popular tourist destination. About 400,000 people live in Victoria and adjacent communities.

Quite refreshing!
I saw the sign for them when I was in Sooke but I didn't stop. Regret that now. Figured I'd always be vacationing up there so I could do it another time.
