Buffleheads

Here are some more winter visitors, a pair of Bufflehead Ducks (Bucephala albeola). As you can see in the photo we are having a lot of weather that is more suitable for ducks than for photographers.

Great shot of the rain drop splashes!
BTW, i tried to share this with a photog friend on FB and got a message saying that the link to this blog is spammy or unsafe.
Another one we don't get in this part of the continent. Fascinating birds!
