High Clouds

Fair weather photographer that I am, the last few days have seen me taking my morning walk without my camera bag. It's been gray and damp. So here's a couple of pics from a few days ago when the sky was blue and nicely tufted with these puffy little clouds. Above, the Victoria skyline with the sun just peeking over the horizon. To the right, the view in the opposite direction a few minutes later, looking along the Westsong Walkway towards West Bay Marina.

Beautiful captures. Is the top one HDR?

Thanks SRQ and yes, the top photo is HDR (probably not necessary but it brought out the definition of the clouds a bit). The lower photo is a similar technique, but uses exposure fusion rather than tonemapping so the stark dawn contrasts are not quite so extreme.

So gorgeous! I love the way the clouds spread out all over the sky.
