Situated on the far west coast of Canada, on the southern tip of Vancouver Island, Victoria is the capital city of the Province of British Columbia. Its benign climate (the warmest winters in Canada) and placid lifestyle make it a favorite retirement location as well as a popular tourist destination. About 400,000 people live in Victoria and adjacent communities.

Lovely house, looks a bit bigger than a cottage though!
I have Volume 4 of "This Old House"which contains Fairfield, the neighbourhood I grew up in. It's always interesting to read the history of each house but in my opinion, a recent colour picture brings this home to life. Thanks again for a trip back home.
