Threeleaf Foamflower (Tiarella trifoliata)

These delicate blossoms belong to another member of the saxifrage family, the Threeleaf Foamflower (Tiarella trifoliata). This is from my recent walk up Mount Douglas.

I love your flower photos...well, all of your photos, actually. I lived in Victoria from 1994 through 1999, so your blog is like a trip down memory lane.

' Exquisite ' is the word that comes to mind.
And terrific, complementing bokeh.

Thanks Anna, I've been enjoying your blog as well though I've never lived in New Westminster, though I grew up in an around Vancouver.

Thanks JoJo and Kris for your kind remarks. If you want to read an interesting blog from a very 'out of the way' place, try Kris' blog (just click on his name to go to his profile.)

Thanks Dean - as usual you are too kind.

Truly lovely. Gwyn up in Juno featured so red and pink saxifrage on her blog recently, and I realized they'd be perfect for my shady side yard.

Thank you again for taking me up Mt. Douglas. I was thinking of it when I was at Deception pass and hiking on some similar rock/trails and saw Gary Oak and other elements that reminded me of that wonderful day and the vistas from the top.
