There's a gold covered statue of Captain Vancouver on top of the Legislative Assembly Building but down below on the Inner Harbor Causeway we have Copper Cowgirl Jane whose frozen stances and mechanistic mime enthrall and captivate passersby. Just watch out, she may be made of copper but she'll pump you full of lead!

This is a very nice photo with some great depth of field issues solved. It is amazing how we celebrate history and put people in places they probably never were. I guess the public expects it.

We saw several versions of copper statues (people) in London recently. A funny businesses drenching onesself in color and begging for money. My daughter was fascinated.
Statue/mannequin performance seems like hard work. If you ever tried it as a kid (we did), you know how difficult it can be. I just love the flower planter you caught here, and remember the information you gave us earlier about the city investment in those.
It's hard to convey in a still photo the kind of mime that Copper Cowgirl Jane does - she's an accomplished performer, not just a copper-colored beggar.
