I know some of you from chillier climes think Victoria is virtually a tropical paradise but NO it's been snowing here overnight and the forecast is for it to keep on snowing all week. - Fern
There's a display this year at Winterlude that you should keep in mind for a late October photo op. A ship is going to be undertaking a trip from Toronto in June around the country via the Northwest Passage and end its trip at Victoria scheduled for the 28th of October. It's for the anniversary year. They had a display panel here on it, as well as a map of the country carved into ice.

It's definitely rare for you guys to get this much snow. I saw some really pretty pics of Butchart Gardens.
